ROMIC Group classic diesel-electric traction has become a regular site across the country at heritage events and diesel galas, with 2025 appearances by our Class 20s at the Mid Norfolk Railway, North Yorkshire Moors Railway and the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, and our Mk3s at the Severn Valley Railway in 2024.
We are proud custodians of the oldest mainline registered locomotives in the UK – 20007, and are committed to keeping our 20s in their classic BR era liveries, and to supporting the heritage scene as much as we can around our locomotives’ operational commitments.
Railtours
Railtours are a growth area for ROMIC Group, and we are looking forward to seeing the Class 20s and our InterCity 125 set out and about on tours in 2026.
