The B70 sleeper was developed in Germany in the 1970s. It is the most prevalent pre-stressed concrete sleeper in the Deutsche Bahn network and is widely used internationally. Ideally suited to both freight and passenger mainline tracks, both for new line construction and upgrading of existing lines, the B70 is a cost-effective and high performance product for rapid track deployment.
