ROMIC Group is pleased to be able to offer two British Rail Class 20 locomotives for sale. A stalwart of the UK rail network, the Class 20 has provided reliable service for over 60 years, on freight and passenger services, and more recently on engineering and infrastructure trains.

Such was the success of the Class 20 that the design was adapted for the Portuguese Railways and for Australia.

Benefitting from simple and proven mechanical and electrical systems, the Class 20 is typically operated in pairs providing 2,000 horsepower with a light axle loading of 18.25t.
