ROMIC Group is proud to be able to offer these innovative hybrid battery shunting locomotives.

Built from 2020, and impeccably maintained, the class was designed to replace aging, and costly to maintain, diesel shunters. These modern locomotives are ideal for general shunting duties, sidings, industrial sites, docks, steelworks, nuclear power plants and mining sites.

These locomotives operate from modular lead-acid batteries, providing zero emission, quiet operation. The batteries can be charged from shore power, or from the on-board 55 kW (Euro V compliant) diesel generator, and the locomotives are equipped with regenerative braking.

Homologated for use in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Croatia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia and the UK.

Multiple working (2 locomotives max.) and remote control optional.
