7.5 Tonne Rail Crane For Sale

The crane offered has a maximum lifting capacity of 7.5t, with a maximum reach of 12.15m, and is fitted with slew locks to limit arc of jib slew.

Used extensively for handling 18m / 60' track panels, but versatile enough to handle all types of plant, equipment and materials for track and infrastructure work, as well as loading and unloading of trains.

Max Lifting Capacity (fully retracted full slew): 7.5t at 5m radius (on level track)
Max Lifting Capacity (fully extended): 2t at 12.15m radius (on level track)

Motive power is provided by a Deutz air-cooled diesel engine which allows the crane to self-propel once on site.

Buffers are standard type coil-sprung retractable buffers. These buffers use demountable saddles to retain the buffers in the deployed position.

The drawgear is designed for use with drop head buckeye couplers. The drawgear incorporates a multiplate elastomeric cushion pack. With the buckeye coupler in the lowered position the drawgear presents an RCH style hook allowing the vehicle to be coupled using a screw-link style coupling arrangement.
