Train Hire for Infrastructure & Test Trains
ROMIC Group locomotives and rolling stock are available, on short, medium and long term hire, to support engineering works, blockades and test trains.
Our Class 20 diesel-electric locomotives are ideally suited to hauling infrastructure and engineering trains, and can be provided with or without drivers according to the individual hirer’s requirements.
We have considerable experience in the hire of passenger coaching stock for test trains and high-speed testing; and are able to provide HST trailers, as well as a range of barrier vehicles via our operating partner, as well as an entire HST trainset for high speed testing purposes.
Our locomotives and rolling stock are maintained by our appointed ECM and subject to all statutory inspection and maintenance exams. Coaches are thoroughly cleaned between rentals.
ROMIC Group carry £10M public and product liability insurance in respect of rolling stock and train charters.
