The Evolution Series is a range of diesel locomotives built by GE (and latterly Wabtec) designed to meet the U.S. EPA’s Tier 2 locomotive emissions standard (as well as UIC 2 capable).

The locomotives offered were constructed for an operator, but have never seen active service. They will therefore require full recommissioning, but are being offered at an attractive price that reflects this.

Once returned to service, these locomotives will offer an excellent return on investment, providing a standard gauge 4,400hp mixed traffic diesel-electric locomotive to modern standards.
